Healthcare

The Healthcare team has been advising hospitals, their insurers, trusts and healthcare professionals on clinical negligence and health law advice, for over 20 years.

The department acts for the National Health Service Litigation Authority and for over 60 trusts and primary care trusts. In addition the healthcare team:

• Acts for medical malpractice insurers of private hospitals and clinics and is retained by a number of private hospitals
• Acts on instructions from insurers on various schemes including optometrists, chiropractors and osteopaths as well as GPs and dentists
• Represents healthcare professionals in disciplinary and regulatory matters
